The United Methodist Church practices infant baptism, a special sacrament that acknowledges God's grace, active in the child's life. Baptisms can be done in any of our services, and can be scheduled by contacting Linda Nevitt, Director of Children's Ministry.
(Children who are baptized in our church become Baptized Members of AHUMC, and our congregation takes seriously the vow our members make at their baptism to raise them in the Christian faith. Therefore, we do not schedule baptisms for non-members.)
